Tripping The Light Fantastic

I'm a bit for the idea that the internet is 'ultimate communication', however at the same time I find it pretty sobering to visualise each individual user's path through the internet and think that no other has or will ever replicate it. Sharing your favourite things on the internet is the closest you can come to 'taking someone wit

h you', I think.

In my next few posts, I'll be coming clean about the deep dark recesses of the internet where I get my juicy fixes. Could easily just bosh links off Twitter all day, but a sneaky feeling tells me it will be more treat-worthy to administer a little structure to the process. As such, areas to be covered will include futurism & post-humanism, science & technology, 'neurotheology', audio & visual arts and Africa! It's gonna be a trip!

When I'm pouncing on internet treats like a hungry Bandicoot on a Wumpa fruit, I think of the above scene from You Know What. I also think about this phrase, 'Trip the light fantastic', which, time and again, pops up in the most unlikely places.
